Year 3 came into school dressed as Anglo Saxons ready for a very cold day at Hooke Court. The children had a wonderful day exploring all the Anglo Saxon activities at Hooke Court. This included looking at and making Anglo Saxon food and experiencing what it would have been like to have lived in an Anglo Saxon house. We are sure that the children really enhanced their historical knowledge, and I’m sure they are looking forward to following up the trip with some exciting work in the classroom.
Thank you to all the teachers and parent helpers who made the trip possible.
